Anna Boniface is a long-distance runner, with one international cap for England in 2017. She gradually developed anorexia when she was around 15 years old, which correlated with starting running competitively. She quickly lost her period and became quite withdrawn in her first year of a-levels. She started to attach her running performance to her weight and how many miles she ran, which came from observations and culture she had learnt throughout her years in sport. She suffered with RED- Syndrome and osteopenia. In this episode we speak about her on going journey of recovery.
