Dr Vicki Mountford, BA(Hons), DClinPsy, is the Lead Clinical Psychologist and Eating Disorder Service Lead at Sage Clinics in Dubai. She previously worked at the Maudsley Hospital in London. She has over twenty years of experience working with individuals with eating disorders and body image concerns and their families. She has published widely on eating disorders and provides supervision and training for clinicians. In this episode, we speak about eating disorders in the UAE and how treatment may be different, alongside some stigmas around eating disorders in the UAE.
